About cliview

cliview is an independent site built and maintained by a solo developer. We publish hands-on reviews and comparisons of the AI productivity tools we actually use — meeting notetakers, transcription services, and developer tooling.

The goal is simple, honest write-ups: what a tool is good at, who it fits, and when it is not worth paying for. We test the products ourselves rather than rehashing marketing copy, and we say so plainly when something falls short.

How we write about products

Our reviews are independent. When we recommend a product we link to it, and some of those links are affiliate links — if you sign up through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That never changes what we recommend or what we say about it. We explain this fully in our affiliate disclosure.
